Rustic, quirky, earthy and elegant get my attention. For plein air painting, days may be hot or cold, sunny, cloudy or rainy (under shelter or indoors.) Any season and any place work for me; especially out in the country.

On Foreign Shores

Never do I travel without some sort of painting equipment, from a tiny pack, to full gear. All here are plein air paintings except Theatre Antique: Provence VI & VII. They are grouped by countries: Italy, France, Ireland, Ukraine, New Zealand, Norway, Belgium, Greece, England and Scotland.
